February 7, 2010, is a day that will not easily be erased from the minds of participating Leaders, a day spent on powerful intercessory prayer on leadership issues , and the climax was the impact and detailed teaching on “leadership responsibilities within church” which was facilitated by our keynote speaker, Pastor Chris Ebbi who is undoubtedly one of the unique voices in leadership thought today. He outlined with powerful scriptural references the four part leadership responsibility of any leader within the church system.

Friendship Service:
Wow!!! It was February 14, 2010. Spots of red filled the house in Icon of Grace. People had invited their honored friends, the Grace Crew, in-house minstrels, treated the worshippers with soul inspiring songs of inspiration and friendship. Pastor Chris Ebbi, stepped up to say that the service is not meant to endorse the unpurified celebrations called valentine’s day as practiced the world over, but was meant to project the purified and sacred philosophy called friendship which Jesus endorsed with His blood, he called them friends (John 15:14-15)  and died for them,  he therefore told all sported  in red colored fabrics that the philosophy behind their red must be the blood Covenant that was ratified by Christ for our sakes as His friends. He went on to communicate a well articulated message on the values of friendship and the need for friends to build up their ability to take the shocks of frictions and crisis that will from time to time try to destroy valid friendships. The message was titled “ Friend, we need a shock absorber”
